How can I configure the web proxy service to open FTP connections in
active mode ???

Thomas,

If you enable packet filters in order to allow outbound FTP connections,
they are made in active mode, right? Unless the IE or FTP client is set to
do on PASV mode or if the Web Proxy service is configured to open FTP
connections in PASV mode, they should be made in active mode.

At least here I don't have problems with that.

BTW, there's also the Colt M4A1 assault rifle, which can have a silencer and
a built-in grenade launcher =)

Hi Tom

It appears that the servers can't accept FTP passive connection for
security reason.

So we only can connect a FTP session in active mode.

The problem is that we can't have a FTP active mode across ISA
server.

So I'm looking for a solution.

My FTP client is FTP expert or leech FTP

That's a bigger gauge ! more dangerous !...

a COLT server is a unix server on the web ! (for my case)

Hi Stephane,

What is a "colt" server? Is that like "Colt 45 Malt Liquor" or the Colt
.45 pistol? :-)

Thanks!
Tom
