Sure, when you're writing you got to be careful so you're not misinterpreted,
especially when you write in a language that's not the same you speak =).

On one side of the fence you have the "DWIM" crowd and on the other, you have
"MS is insecure".

its built-in firewall?

The short story is that you just lost control over the VPN client's ability to
reach non-local-subnet content.
Once this happens, their connection effectively provides a bridge between the
Internet and your internal network.
