Hi Tom,

Now I have configured the Internal DNS server to forward Inernal DNS
request to my ISP, and it work well. Mdaemon can now resolve mail
addresses and send message correctly. But now i?m trying to publish the
Mdaemon mail server. I use the ?secure mail server? wizard of ISA. After
configuring the client (Outlook), i try a POP connection to the mail
server, and there is the message i?ve gotten:

 Client side:

Votre serveur a mis fin à la connexion de manière inattendue. Les causes
possibles peuvent être des problèmes au niveau du serveur ou du réseau,
ou une trop longue période d'inactivité. Compte : 'Test Richard',
Serveur : '80.248.64.15', Protocole : POP3, Port : 110, Sécurisé (SSL) :
Non, Numéro d'erreur : 0x800CCC0F

Server side :

Mon 2003-02-17 15:04:10: [436:78] Accepting POP connection from
[192.168.0.7]
Mon 2003-02-17 15:04:10: [436:78] Winsock Error 10054 Connection was
reset by the other side!

transferred!

How can i fix that problem ?

Richard

Hi Richard,

Exchange 2000 allows you to configure customer DNS server settings for
outbound SMTP, does MDaemon allow the same?

Thanks!
Tom

Are you allowing outbound DNS query from the MDaemon server?
