Ok two things
1. how many ext ip's have you got on the machine? i have seen funny
things with this.
2. I think this is a NAT based problem. Have you got RRAS installed
doing NAT? if so kill it, ISA and RRAS NAT dont play together.

Have you installed the service pack 1 and subsequent patches. isa will
not run on win2k3 without the spack, that is the service wont start

Hi all
After following the Quick Start guide (I am a newbie) to set up ISA on
Win 2003 server, the Microsoft firewall service will not start. I get
the following message:
Microsoft Firewall Service service terminated with service specific
error 213005
I have restarted all the services listed as dependencies, as well as all
the ISA services but to no avail... any ideas???
