let mr brief it for you
I have a registered domail for me( mydomain.com) ( pop.mydomain.com for
POP3) and (smtp.mydomain.com for SMTP). those servers have not been reigstered
with my IPs. later I got wondorful Internet system which I have installed
Domain Controller , FTP server and ISA server. the proplem occurrs whenever I
am trying to restrict internet Access for certain group then the 'microsoft
outlook' always is giving 'pop.mydomain.com server is not found'. When I allow
internet Access for all users it works fine.
I have tried both cases for the client side ( firewall enabled and without a
firewall ).
any help will be appriciated indeed.

What exactly is the problem?
Does it happen when the client is outside the firewall or inside?
What authentication method are you using?

Are you using the firewall client or are your internal hosts Secure NAT Clients?

May be I did not make myself clear, dear sir, I know how to cofigure rules to
access SMTP and POP3 servers. the proplem is :
I have the following rules:
1- Action: Allow
protocols: DNS,HTTP,HTTPS,MSN Messenger,POP3,SMTP
From : Internal, Local Host
To : External
Users : All Users
I have published the mail server with the following rule
2- Action : Allow
Traffic : POP3 Server
From : Anywhere
To : I have supplied the IP of my POP3 server
Network: Internal, Local Host
and the same rule has been repeated for the SMTP server. the problem occurs
when I make a restricted group but with 'All Users' everything just go fine.
I appreciate your co-operation very much.

Hi Amaar,
You have to create Access rule to allow SMTP & POP3 protocols
from internal network to the external network for all users.
After configuring this rule, u'll be under way to EMAILING..... !!
You have to explicitly configure this rule even though you have created a
rule which allows unrestricted access to all protocols in ISA 2004.
