I forgot about those signatures. Oops. I do have a few installed, but no
new ones recently (obviously, or I would have remembered them).
In any case, after my user placed her order, I re-enabled the HTTP
filter but the Staples site still works. Weird.

Without a capture, it's nearly impossible to say exactly what they're
sending.
The probability is that you've defined some HTTP Filter signatures and
these can't be examined if the response from the web server is encoded
in any way.

Hello all--
One of my people tried to place an order at www.staples.com today and
couldn't get into their site. I took a look at the logs and the error
I'm getting is this: "Blocked by the HTTP security filter: the response
content is encoded and cannot be scanned".
Is anyone else running into this at the Staples site? Did they do
something bad to their website? Is there a way to lobby them to undo it?
Is there a way to modify the HTTP filter so it'll allow access to the
Staples site? (At the moment I've got the HTTP filter disabled, but only
until she completes her order.) Any other suggestions?
