MessageHi Thomas,

Yes, I have a back to back firewall setup. My web server sits in the dmz and is
accessed from the external world by others wanting to look at my web sites.
And I was trying to save walking 20 feet over to the machine to prop new web
pages<grin>. Is it a wise idea to use terminal services to go form the
internal ISA out to the web server? Right now I just make a copy of new stuff
to cd and just walk over to the machine. Not always good if I'm out of town
and need to fix something. So, just trying to come up with something that works
well that I could document.

Thank you,

Joseph

  Hi Joseph,

I'm not sure you need to publish TS on the Web machine, are you accessing it
from an external nework? I thought you had a back to back ISA setup, so you
would be accessing it via an outbound connection through the back-end ISA
firewall.

  Thanks!
  Tom

  Hi Thomas,
Would this also be a good way to publish terminal services on a web machine
in a DMZ.
50 feet is to far to walk to prop new content!

  Thank you,

  Joseph

    Hi Marvin,

Create a Protocol Definition for TCP 3389 Inbound

Create a Server Publishing Rule using that Server Protocol Definition.

    Tom

I thought I saw a document somewhere that focuses on publishing window
2003 terminal services on the ISA server. If it exists does anyone have a link
to it?

      Thanks
