Publishing exchange server

Hi, is there any way to publish the exchange server through ISA if the
ISA is not on the same VLAN? could it be that the exchange's only way
to direct email traffic to specific IP is through having that IP as
the default GW of the exchange?
One more thing pleeeeease is there a similar list for Windows and AD issues?
