The "allow authentication via HTTP" is the option I had to allow also... ________________________________ From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rob Moore Sent: Friday, April 13, 2007 11:23 AM To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [isalist] Re: Publishing a SharePoint site on ISA 2006 I got it to go. I had to allow authentication via HTTP since we don't have a certificate for this site. That same problem was the source of my frustration for a couple of months. The settings you are looking for are in the web listener properties, you have to allow a different type of authentication to pass through to get it to authenticate to the AD. I'll have to look up the details of what I had to change to get it working... ________________________________ From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rob Moore Sent: Friday, April 13, 2007 10:24 AM To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [isalist] Re: Publishing a SharePoint site on ISA 2006 OK, I've regenerated the error about authentication: Error Code: 403 Forbidden. ISA Server is configured to block HTTP requests that require authentication. (12250) Rob _____________________________________________ From: Rob Moore Sent: Friday, April 13, 2007 10:18 AM To: 'isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: Publishing a SharePoint site on ISA 2006 Is there a tutorial for publishing a SharePoint site through ISA 2006, either at the Isaserver.org site or at the MS site? I've been looking around but haven't found one. The problem I'm experiencing is this: The site is accessible. We do not have an SSL certificate. When we get to pages that require authentication, we get an error that says: Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202) Hmmm, now that I look at that, the error is different than it was before. Before it gave me an error about authentication. I guess in my messing about with the rule and the listener, I've changed something. In any case, we can't get into pages that require authentication. I've tried configuring the listener and the rule in various ways without luck so far. Using ISA 2006 Standard. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Rob Moore Network Manager 215-241-7870 Help Desk: 800-500-AFSC
