Joseph, That is my exact config; 128K ISDN ---> Router ----> ISA Server ----> Switch ----> Internal Network (Servers and PC's). Would it be easier if DNS ran from the same box as ISA? There is this article on isaserver.org that has some information for you: http://www.isaserver.org/shinder/tutorials/designing_an_isa_server_solut ion_on_a%20_simple_network.htm What I would do is: Internet ----> ISA ----> SWITCH ----> Machines I believe that the above article will help tremdously. The ISA Machine? One website is on one server, another website on the other server, and a web site inside a directory on that server. I would like to point out that I had to remove the host header from IIS as no matter how I try accessing the site, I got 404 errors while the host header was there. does that help? chris -----Original Message----- From: Joseph [mailto:cismic@xxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, 15 February 2002 1:51 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Publishing Multiple Websites http://www.ISAserver.org Chris, Typically 403 means that you might not have a destination set established. www.mysite.com, http://www.mysite.com, www.mysite.com with /* or some other directory. Then with the web publishing rule point to your web site on the tab that selects "Action". Make sure that you enter the ip address of your web server and not the friendly name such as www.mysite.com use the 198.0.1.10 etc notation. Make sure the box is checked to pass in the original headers. What type of setup are you using? Back to back? Etc. I can ping them on our LAN and I can ping them when dialed up to the internet (meaning that DNS entries are right at my end and throughout the world wide web). I have done the Host header stuff, using borth the full dns name, and using the short one. Still gets 403 errors Chris -----Original Message----- From: Joseph [mailto:cismic@xxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, 15 February 2002 12:47 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Publishing Multiple Websites http://www.ISAserver.org Chris, Let's start at the beginning. 1st make sure you have either internal or external DNS setup. Mysite.com Host www Host test 1. Select properties on a web site. 2. Select the advanced tab if your sites are already setup. 3. Edit the selection and enter your host header name. Either www or www.mysite.com depending on how your system is setup You could probably automate this via script. If so, what do you input as the host header name? Chris -----Original Message----- From: Jay J. Mobley [mailto:jmobley@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, 15 February 2002 9:02 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Publishing Multiple Websites http://www.ISAserver.org Ok.. then you may want to try this. I assume then you are allowing your IIS or web server distinguish between hostheaders to determine which website will answer the request? on each of your web-publishing rules.. under "Action" check the box that will send the original host header with the request see if that helps -Jay Mobley -----Original Message----- From: Chris Maciejewski [mailto:chris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2002 2:04 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Publishing Multiple Websites http://www.ISAserver.org I have set up Listeners for incoming web requests. Have followed the help guide at the isaserver.org learning zone exactly on publishing multiple websites, but the problem still occurs Help!
