Hi Alex,

I thought you were talking about OWA.

Are you using SSL to SSL bridging?

There is a known issue, but let's find out about that first.

        Hi Tom:

Could it make a difference that the site that is slow is a
Sharepoint site?

        Alex

        Hi Alex,

Unlikley. Its only an issue for certs you fry up yourself,
unless they can't reach the site.

Slowness can be due to a lot of things. I'd check out the ISA
firewall perfomances best practices WP (hidden on the MS.com site, I
always have a heck of a time finding it).

That is a GREAT WP -- and worth the read.

Also even once your authenticated to the site, browsing
is still pretty slow.

All of the certs are from Verisign. We don't have an
internal CA. Is that what could be causing the slowness?

                Hi Alex,

That's what's most likely causing the problem. You can
publish your certificate revocation list (CRL) or disable cert checking
on the browsers. The CRL publishing would be easier :)

There's a KB article on how to do this, and I wrote
about it somewhere, but don't recall if it was in a book or on the Web
site.

                        Hey Tom:

CRL? Sorry not familiar with that. Browsers
are default installs so for cert checking yes.

                        Thanks,

        Hi Alex,

Are you publishing your CRL? Are the browsers configured to
perform
        certificate checking?
