Hi Christian

If you get this the answer is yes, it seems to have been a dodgy port in
my hub, swapped ports and everything seems to work ok.

        Hello Steve,

Did you use the Web publishing or the Server publishing in ISA ?

I've used the Server publishing and it works fine.

        Hi all

Here's a topic for the mail wizards. I have just rebuilt my
small
        network
with 2 new servers, AD installed. Server 1 is the pdc with
Exchange 2K
        on
it. Server 2 is a bdc with ISA on it, before any of you say
anything
        about
domain controllers and ISA I know I shouldn't but I have to.
Anyway it
        is
exactly the same setup as I had before apart from the hardware,
same
        nics
& cable modem. No problem surfing or using netwmeeting or
publishing
websites. I have one severe problem. I cannot send nor recieve
mail.
        Both
servers resolve dns no problem, I have put forwarders in the DNS
to no
avail, I've put forwarders in Exchange to no avail. Outgoing
mail just
        hangs in the queue.

I have installed a small app called Mailwall which acts as a
gateway and
screener on the ISA box, now my mail leaves exchange but gets
stuck in
        the
out queue of mailwall, which leads me to believe that the smtp
ports are
not open. I have configured ISA by the book (Tom's, uninstalled
and re
installed to no avail. If I do a netstat -an I cannot see port
25
listening. Take ISA off and everything works ok. HELP!!!
