That?s all well and good but in some cases we are forced to use dynamic
external ips'. My ISP wouldn?t give me a static one if I had a million
dollars or offered them weapons of mass destruction.

Well you shouldn't be answering the question then........just enable the
dhcp filter within the isa mmc

It is HIGHLY recommended (per Shinder book p. 208-212) that your
external interface have static addressing.. I don't know of a scenario
whereby ISA SERVER can be programmed to change automatically..

You will have to change PACKET FILTERS, and published servers when this
occurs..

Hi!
I have a problem with my ISA server. I seem to loose the external ip
adress, wich is assigned by DHCP. If i stop all ISA services I receive
an adress just fine, but when ISA server is Activated I can`´connect to
my ISP:s dhcp. What have I missed?

Regards/

Jimmy¨
