Hey josephk

My setup is one with an internal and external dns server. The websites
are on the same external dns server and neither are in a DMZ. This
external server sits in a workgroup and all internal clients are SNAT
and they all can view the sites. This configuration, though basic, is
working for me until I can get more servers.
I too use host headers and for this site have the destination sets and
web publishing rule set for internal.site.com and www.site.com. The same
as my other 2 sites, yet it isn't working. I know I'm missing something
really simple.

I appreciate the response.

Hi Marvin,
How is your site configured?
INTERNET >> ISA >> DMZ >> ISA >> INTERNAL?
OR INTERNET >> ISA >> INTERNAL?

I keep my internal dns behind the second firewall and it forwards out to
my
Dns servers located in the DMZ. My dns server in the DMZ points to my
web server that
Is also located in the DMZ. When I use the internal network to look at
my sites
In the DMZ www.somesite.com I will get a site not found. That is for
browser configurations
That are using secure Nat. Now when I add the firewall client to
internal clients
I can review the sites located in the DMZ www.somesite.com. I never
publish the internal web
Servers to the public.

I publish and host quite a few sites. What I like to use and you'll find
others using the
Same method are host headers. www.somesite.com, internal.somesite.com,
Both sites would
Need to have web publishing to work. Then when you configure(publish)
the sites you pass on
To the sites the original host headers to each site respectively.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what your looking for but these are my
thoughts.

Thank you,
Joseph

I'm wondering if someone can point me in right direction. I run ISA 2000
on a w2k3 server with a few websites published to the outside. I'm now
trying to create a new website for both www and internal.website.org but
can't seem to see any of the pages. I've created the website, the
internal DNS records, a destination set and publishing rule for this new
site yet I still can't view it.

Can someone advise me on what I'm missing? I know it's something simple.

Thanks
