Is the Exch server a SecureNAT client? What is the error seen at the client? What is in the ISA logs for those requests? What are you using to test the connection with; mail client, telnet, WinsockTool? What I've done is added port 26 to the exchange default SMTP virtual server protocol and now want to configure the ISA server to open port 26 and map it to this exchange server. This I'm oping will allow inbound email. What I've done is navigate to the properties of my published exchange smtp rule clicked the traffic tab where SMTP server is selected clicked ports and selected the Send requests to this port on the published server: 26. I've tried to send messages in externally and waited but nothing is coming thru. Could I be doing this wrong? Port routing 101...SOS and I'm not seeing strait right now so any responses are appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx All mail to and from this domain is GFI-scanned.
