http://www.ISAserver.org ------------------------------------------------------- Andrew What ever do you mean "where does it get its imap from"?? Greg Mulholland 'Security was not considered in the design of this protocol' -----Original Message----- From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andrew English Sent: Tuesday, May 09, 2006 11:48 AM To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [isalist] Possible redirection? http://www.ISAserver.org ------------------------------------------------------- I am combing through this Linux box that runs RedHat Enterprise 4, and SpamAssissan to figure out where it gets it's IMAP info from, the current WatchGuard firewall has only one rule that redirects the IMAP port 163 from the Linux box to Exchange's IMAP. Someone on a RedHat forum suggested that I look and see if Xinetd is running which could mean the SMTP data is also being redirect to IMAP port 163. If this is the case is there anyway to emulate this on ISA 2004? The other rules on the WatchGuard only show all SMTP traffic going from the WAN to the DMZ Linux box, and SMTP traffic from the Linux box to Exchange as well.
