The trouble is I'm not running anything proxy-like (apart from the firewall client, of course)... At least nothing new!! It could be that running Network Supervisor co-incided with Symantec Liveupdate\Enterprise Security, or Digiguide (www.digiguide.com) GETting some data but AFAIK they both use FTP. Does MS Messenger's little version checker (name escapes me right now) use 1112? Win2K SP2 Fully patched. No mySQL around anywhere. -----Original Message----- From: Shane Mullins [mailto:tsmullins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 15 May 2002 13:28 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: Port 1112 http://www.ISAserver.org Paul, Many apps can use port 1112. mSQL, a couple of public proxies (here is a link http://tools.rosinstrument.com/proxy/81.htm ) and I am sure there are more. If a firewall client was opening this port you could use a deny rule to close it, assuming it was not important.
