If you have active directory and dns installed you don't need or want WINS.
Furthermore, if you haven't even configured it and are using a native mode
network it is just sitting there doing nothing (except causing trouble).
Uninstall it!

Yes, 192.168.16.2 is the Server (And ISA Server).  WINS is installed on the
server also.  It is not doing anything as far as I am aware.  I was reading
an article last night by Tom Shinder and he says that it is a good idea to
have WINS installed...??

Who is 192.168.16.2? Your ISA server? Do you have WINS installed on your
network? More importantly, are you actually using WINS? You don't need or
want WINS on an all Windows2000 (native mode) network.

Anyone able to tell me what is happening from the log I have pasted below??
Whatever it is, it is causing the dial up ISDN connection to stay connected
permenantly when it should be only dialing up for Internet use and e-mail
send and retrieval..
