Hi Tom,

That's the bu##er, absolutely nothing in the logs, everything else works
perfectly with only the wpad entry, just the email thing, very wierd.
Doining a live trace with the monitor shows nothing untoward happening
either, Even with an allow all rule, no pics.

Steve

Hey Steve,

You don't need to assign those DHCP options if you don't want. You can
assign only the 252 if that's all you need. You can make the clients
only Web Proxy and Firewall clients.

I'd check the firewall log to see why the pix aren't showing up.

Hi Guys

If the FW client is being used in a dhcp environment, and the wpad stuff
has been set up in both dhcp and dns, then does the dhcp scope still
need the router, (gateway), address? Surely that then turns it into a
securenat client?

The reason I am asking this, is, if I remove the router option from the
scope. everything except pictures within email works as I would expect
it too, (by pictures, I mean inline stuff within the NY times, BBC
newsletter etc.), but as soon as I put the router entry back in and
renew the lease, all the pictures display.
