Nope.

The settings are specific for Intel or Compaq nics, the linsys nic
could cut it :-)

Its funny how I ran into this, I was trying to lookup the
thresholds for a few of ISA's counters.

Tested and its works for sections:

Increase the TCP/IP Buffer Sizes in the Registry

        and

Enabled the FTP Kernel Mode Data Pump

        ----

I'll check out the "Adjust the Paramerers of Specific Network
Adapter Cards, but I'm not sure it will work with a $15 linksys card :-)
I wish I had deul procs at home to test the Proc Affinity to a single
cpu...that would be killler to now the results.

                Hi David,

Those are some pretty cool settings. I wonder if those
Intel/Compaq settings would work on any other card?

I also wonder why the difference is between the IP
Routing setting kernel mode data pump, and the FTP kernel mode data pump
mentioned later in the article? Perhaps the second entry applies to
firewall clients and the first one applies to SecureNAT clients? I have
assumed that both the SecureNAT and Firewall clients use the FTP Access
application filter to manage the secondary connections and get pumped up
in a similar fashion. Maybe those firewall client pump me ups don't work
for secondary connections unless we enable that Registry entry?

                Thanks!
                Tom
