can you browse OK? which is to say; can you resolve names? also are remote mail servers going to be able to get to your name servers in order to reverse resolve the sending domain? Often if a mail server can not resolve the domain that the mail was recieved from, it will not get delivered. -Jay -----Original Message----- From: Rod Rodriguez [mailto:rodamr@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 20, 2001 12:32 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Outbound e-mail unable to resolve name http://www.ISAserver.org Help. I have tried everything and I cannot get e-mail to go out. It was working fine the 2 days ago. I opened up UDP Port 53 for DNS, Port 25 is all set for SMTP. The E-Mail client set is all done for the exchange server and I have checked and re-checked but I cannot get e-mail to go out. On the E-Mail server I can not get a tracert to run either. Any suggestions would be great. Rod __________________________________________________ Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?
