Dear Hari, There is no need to open any port for yahoo messenger. You simply do the following and ensure whether your requirement is fulfilled. Open Tools in internet explorer then internet options then advanced find the option called "Use HTTP 1.1" Under that you will find 2 options Check the options a) use HTTP 1.1 b) use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections click ok close the explorer and try to login to yahoo messenger. Hope this will work.
