Can you tell me how you manually removed it ? Right click and selecting
delete does not delete it.

Well, yeah that too. In our case it was a week later and the object was
still there, so I manually removed it.

Be patient. AD takes time to update things.

        Hi

I ran dcpromo to remove a server from a domain. All worked fine
but in AD Users and Computers under Domain Controllers the server still
appears. Any ideas?
