Thanks for the advice Jeff.

Tried this out including the web link on the other reply.
I had the ISA server setup already like this, but I think it is strictly
a OWA issue.

It is not working for you after you put SP1 and I don't have it working
before SP1.

I get the same thing unauthorized.

Thanks,

Chris

I had OWA working until I applied SP1 for Exchange and now it is broke.
But to answer your question, here is how permissions need to be set up.

On the c:\program files\exchsrvr\exchweb folder the authenticated users
group needs to have Read & Execute, list folder and read selected. This
should be the default.

Now for the virtual directories. Permissions for these need to be set
from with the Exchange system manger (server\protocol\http). If they
are changed from with IIS manager, they will be overwritten every 15
min. by the IIS Metadatabase.

The Exchange virtual directory should have permissions of Integrated and
Basic selected. This is the same for the Public Virtual directory.

The Exchweb virtual directory permissions should be set from IIS snap in
as they are different. it's permissions should be anonymous and
integrated.

This info is outlined in a KB article although I don't have the number
in front of me. Hope this helps

I am having a hell of a time trying to get OWA to work.

I constantly get the log in screen three times and then says
unauthorized.

I have changed the directory security on the Default Web Site to try to
use Basic, Digest, Integrated, and even Anonymous.
But always the same error.

I am starting to hate trying to configure this damn thing.

Does anyone have any ideas???????????/

Chris
