Boy is it difficult to figure out where you are from your website! -----Original Message----- From: Amy Babinchak [mailto:amy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 12:59 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] OT: to Tom http://www.ISAserver.org The Great Lakes are connected to the ocean but they aren't coming in that way. We got a furrin' border within a couple of miles a here. They are supposedly coming over land via Canada and being smuggled by boat across Lake Huron, Erie, Detroit river, Lake St. Clair or Superior to the USA. Even open fishing boats are being inspected. They open the fish locker looking for really tiny Chinese people. One sailboat in our club was boarded and every drawer was dumped. Darn that's where I keep my new Chinese friends, in drawers. Guess I'll have to convince them that they aren't Chinese after all - Monty Python style. Since we know that Chinese food doesn't stick with you, all Chinamen must be hollow, if you throw a hollow piece of pipe into the water, it sinks, but it you throw this guy into the water, he floats (for a little while anyway) therefore he must not be Chinese. We had 4 armed customs officials walking the docks and asking pointed questions, like where have you been, how many people were with you, yada, yada, yada. When finally asked why they were coming onto private property they said oh, we're just on a meet and greet mission to encourage boaters to keep a look out for suspicious activity. Sure...
