It's not really "invitation only," but more of a "we won't approve your
posts if you are a moron" stance.  Elitist, yes, but you don't feel dirty on
the list.

Some have speculated that there is sometimes a "clash of egos" on the
ISAPros list, but I really disagree.  The people there know each other, and
respect each other.  If we get into a heated debate over something, while it
may look like we're a bunch of jerks, it's really just us cutting through
the "niceties" of the protocols of public discussion and making our
(sometimes spirited) points without worrying about getting other people
angry - I find it a much better way to communicate, actually.

Anyway, that's just my buck o' five.
