I got it! Its the ole Local Power User Group that I was in. You have
to belong to the Local Admin Group to see your local nic. duh....slap

Hi Vmusers,
I'm using Vmware 4.0 workstation, I've selected the default
settings to start a new virtual machine session (bridge mode) and the
following error pop-up message appears:
"The network bridge on device VMnet0 is not running. The
virtual machine will not be able to communicate with the host or with
other machines on your network." Is there something wrong with my
system?
