Thanks Greg, I normally use McAfee too. Well the customer decided to switch from NAI to Panda, mostly because of the real bad support they received from NAI, and partly due to massive price reductions, someone is really desperate to get his foot in the door there :) Slim is the word I heared. I didn't know Panda software before, just wanted to hear some comments. It seems that management is much easier than with the bloated ePo, for a start. How about detection, would you say it's all just the same really? And Steve, don't worry it's mostly bones and fur... no wait you wouldn't want to eat that too, would you? -----Original Message----- From: Greg Mulholland [mailto:gmulholland@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Posted At: Monday, November 24, 2003 10:34 AM Posted To: www.isaserver.org Conversation: [isalist] OT: Panda antivirus software Subject: [isalist] RE: OT: Panda antivirus software http://www.ISAserver.org Mark I have used it. in fact i used to sell it. It seemed to be a very "slim desktop" piece of software. I am more of a traditional MacAfee nor Symantec guy. But in general i think it can server a purpose. What other products are you comparing it too. Any experiences, good or bad? Would you recommend it? Does it have any distinctive features that are amiss with other products, or does it lack such? Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
