Hey Brian that's funny. I find the only way to understand them is to wiggle
your head a bit when they talk to you. It has helped me at many a family
Christmas I can tell you. At least then they think you are interested.

I can top that. I wasted several hours on Friday with MS support. All three
levels of technician we dealt with sounded like they worked in India. Not
that there's anything wrong with people in India, I just can't understand
them. Waited on hold for half an hour for the technician to get an install
code that I told him I already had. Later he was supposed to call us back,
but he never did. I got an email this morning saying the call was closed.
Turns out he called my office number in Canada which is the number on my
customer record rather than the number I specifically gave him in our
California office.
If we had just reinstalled the server and applications and restored the data
backups it would have taken less time than waiting on hold.
Argh!
