Hi guys

Sorry for the intrusion but Microsoft says my question is a "HowTo" question
and they don't support those, so I thought I might be able to bug the likes
of you guys for some assistance.

I know that it is not possible to apply a Group Policy to an Active
Directory Container. You can only apply a GPO to an OU. Problem with this is
that how do you then apply a GPO to all your workstations. Such as the GPO
to apply SUS Server settings etc.

In Win2003 you can use the redircmp.exe tool to redirect the default
Computers to a different place, such as an OU, and thus have the GPO
applied, but in Win2000 I would like to know if there is anything similar -
because I cannot find it.

As I see it I have 2 solutions:
1) Manually copy workstations from the Computers Container to an OU of my
choice - repetitive task
2) Upgrade to Win2003 - Not on the cards at the moment

Would anyone perhaps have any advice on this for me?

Thanks guys
William R.
