Yes, it would be nice. It makes it much easier to diagnose a misconfigured
packet filter rule when
I'm able to see the affected packets as they are being dropped.

On a Linux machine I do:

/var/log/messages

tail -f messages

Is there a way for me to this on ISA?

Joe

Hiya,

I'm new to ISA server, but not new to firewalls and security.
(Though I'm no ace.)

Is it possible to admin ISA server from a console command line, or
perhaps from a CMD prompt?

Say what you want about MMC, but for some things, a plain old text
interface is all you need ... :)

[list alert: Unix type onboard!]
