Hello,
I have a couple of software apps that access servers on the internet using the
HTTP protocol. These products work well with other proxy products
(wingate,sambar) and even unix based products like squid etc, even when proxy
authentication is on.
The ISA server i have installed uses windows NT authentication (i.e) the
username and password combination to access the net is validated against the
domain name server. Internet explorer works fine and i can browse ok. When it
comes to products like opera, netscape and browsing from linux browsers - and
all other third party web access software (download accellerator) i get
HTTP/1.1 502 Proxy Error ( The ISA Server denies the specified Uniform Resource
Locator (URL). )
And i still get this error even after putting all possible combinations of the
user name and password i.e. <username> <domain>\<username> etc.
