Not quite sure about your problem, all I know is that when using ANY java-based applet through my ISA Firewall I always got problems regarding the authentication process. As far as I could tell the problem was that the JRE v1.3 couldn't properly understand NTLM authentication. Like I said, I don't know if this is your problem, but you may want to try downloading JRE v1.4.2 (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html) that was released recently and is much better at handling authentication. Actually the problem is with JAVA. That is having problem. There are many firewall clients having different OS like XP, WIN2K and even win2k3 clinets. But the probelm on each clinent is that java applets are not loaded on that clients. It doesn't happen all the time. Sometime it works well but some time the same applet is not working and GREY screen is appeared and taskbar shows a message like "Class not found". I would be very thankful if you let me know why is it happening or how could I get rid out of this problem. Thanks. Tariq. _________________________________________________________________ Frustrated with dial-up?
