ISA supports NTLM authentication at the web listener, but this requires that
you configure your domain and ISA delegation for KCD to the Exchange server.
You cannot:
1. delegate NTLM authentication to upstream NTLM authentication
2. "double-authenticate" using NTLM

Search isaserver.org and TechNet for "ISA 2006 KCD" and you'll be rewarded with
lots of reading material.

Subject: [isalist] NTLM Authentication

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why or if https - rpc supports NTLM authentication through
the ISA server I have a separate publishing rule setup for https over RPC using
basic authentication all works fine. I 'm using ISA 2004 with sp1 on win03 sp1
installed. If I use the laptop on the local lan I can authenticate using NTLM
fine bypassing the ISA box so it's the ISA server .

Thanks,
