Muqeem, I have that setting on my domain and don't receive the domain unavailable message. If your running AD in your network behind the firewall you might check to see if you have changed the AD/PDC machine to native mode which means allow only 2000(old pdc's/bdc's) type of machines to participate in the domain. Also you might check to see if you have the AD client software running on your machines. http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/server/evaluation/news/bulletins/ad extension.asp Joseph -----Original Message----- From: Muqeem Syed [mailto:Syed.Muqeem@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 26, 2002 11:25 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] NT Server looses Domain Account.. http://www.ISAserver.org Hi All, Recently we had changed the security settings on the win 2K domain controlller for restricted anonymous settings to 2... and then after that .. the 2 NT servers on our domain lost their membership...no I have re-changed the settings.. rebooted the domain controller .... and am trying to connect the servers back to the domian.. but I get the error that the domain controller is not available for this domain.. can some one throw some light ...regardsAC ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org/ Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: cismic@xxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
