NNTP Aplication Filter

Does anyone know if there is an NNTP application filter out there
anywhere?
I want a filter that will allow people to connect to external news
servers, but will restrict the groups that they are allowed to look at?
Also it would be good if it doubled as a virus scanner as well.
I know I could always set up my own internal NNTP server, but we don't
really have the bandwidth for that.
