Hi All,

New to this so please bear with me.

I have my ISA as part of SBS2K, 1 Internal NIC + A broadband modem attached
via USB Port. My ISP assigns IP to my external interface(cable modem) via
DHCP lease period of 24 hrs.
Thus all my filters apply to the default external interface, as the IP
changes I cannot specify it.

I send SMTP and receive POP3 mail and have NNTP access also, along side my
web traffic.

My client is Win2k Pro running Firewall Client + Web Proxy configured with
the internal interface of my ISA on 8080.

When I construct my LAT, if I include my external IP(cable modem) then all
works fine, if I exclude it(as I know I should), I configure the DNS
Forwarders to my ISP DNS, my client can still access the web OK, as can my
server, but all mail stops and does NNTP.

I have tried to publish my mail server for inbound POP3 and outbound SMTP, no
change.

Does anyone have any ideas at all, I am planning a similar scenario for Work,
but with a fixed IP on ADSL,

The book by Dr Schinder is ordered.

TIA

Joe
