I tried this and am still having the same issue. It is rather unique in
the fact that there are a handful (5-10) PC's that don't experience this
issue, however the other 390 or so do....

Ok...change the settings from 'Automatically login using crrent username
and
password' to "Prompt for username and password", and see if this helps.

It is currently set at "automatically login using current username and
password"
Just to claify, the clients are NOT having a problem logging into the
proxy for authentication - it is actual authentication to the external
site.

Try verifing on the IE browser,

Under Tools, Internet Options, Security Tab, highlight Internet icon,
click
Custome Level...

Security Settings windows appears, scroll to bottom, under User
Authentication. What do have for settings?

The firewall client is currently installed on all machines.

My guess is SSL needs to establish a continuous session with the SSL, so
you
would need to have Firewall Client installed to support this.

I originally thought that it was a caching issue, so I disabled all
caching two days ago.... It is still happening though.

Hi Jeremiah,
You might want to verify, your Cache Configuration

Right-mouse click Cache Configuration, and click Properties

Cache Configuration Properties window appears, select HTTP Tab

Under 'Unless sources specifies expiration, update object in cache:'
select
'Frequently (Expire immediately)' radio button.

Then see if you are having the problem.

Hello!

We are seeing a problem with having multiple login prompts when
accessing SSL sites. For instance, we are trying to access the
JDEdwards Knowledge Garden - which requires a secured login. It then
prompts us for our credentials to access (not ISA, the actual JDE login)
30-40 more times (almost as if it is requiring authorization for each
login). This does not happen when we are not pointed @ ISA for our
proxy server. The client appears to authenticate to ISA properly - it
just doesn't authenticate to SSL sites properly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
