Load balance issue

Hello,
I am so new to this list and also to ISA.
I have the 2 identical machines that are running a web application, the
data base is written to another machine. Can ISA perform the load
balancing between the two web servers? If yes, which version?
If one of those two machines failed, would all incoming traffic be
forwarded to the other one automatically?
