Make sure:

OK-- Now that I've got the new layout down, I have a Q regarding what
precautions I should take in preparing my client-server segmentation.

As it is now, I've got all my servers in my rack in their own gigabit switch.
Clients systems come into 2 other gigabit switches which uplink to the server
switch.

I'm going to deploy an ISA 2004 box in between the servers and the clients (as
described in my previous email about minimum protocol lists). This box will
have 2 gigabit NIC's-- one to the client switch (considered the "External"
network) and one to the server switch (The "internal" network.)

My immediate concern is speed-- while I've read/heard that 2004 is close to
wire speed, are there any considerations I should be aware of given the fact
that I'm putting this guy in between my clients and servers? While I've got a
million deployments of DMZ/Edge configs, the obvious bottleneck is the internet
pipe. Any secret info for an in-line production config regarding throughput
speeds?

I'm prepared to find out the hard way (which is really how I learn
everything) but if there are some tips, I'd like them sooner than later. ;)
