Hmmm, ya... given your scenario, you are not looking to link the ISA servers together or chain connectivity through them. You are just looking to provide a firewall/access control at disparate locations. Stand-alone at each location would probably work just fine. And yes, you would need a license for each server. ----- Original Message ----- From: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 23, 2002 11:00 AM Subject: [isalist] RE: Licensing Question http://www.ISAserver.org This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Standard Edition will do you fine unless you want to use arrays of ISA servers. You will need a licence for each ISA Server you deploy. It looks as if we are going to be putting internet access in some of our remote sites instead of them using the private line to get access. My question is; I know I will need to purchase ISA Enterprise Edition but how many copies. Can you purchase Enterprise Edition for "x" amount of servers, is it unlimited, or is it simply one copy per server which could be quite expensive. I was just wondering how the licensing worked. ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: rdzek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
