Yes that is essentially the method suggest in Alex Alencar's tip ... enable the built-in DHCP packet filter which, as you mentioned, opens up port 68 (Local) and port 67 (remote). Doesn't my ISP (SWBell) set the term of the lease, in this case, 8 hours ?? Rod
