After discussing with the Technical Manager at our ISP we finally got it up and running! I told him about this knowledgebase article and the rest of our discussion and then he came up with a suggestion: Turn of "Microsoft integrated autentication" on the IIS, he did so and everything worked superb! The difference we could observe on our side was that the logon popup did not ask for domain any more. I suppose we now send the password in clear text, but... :-) Thanks a lot for your assistance! -Noralf- -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 20. februar 2002 16:01 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: ISAserver and FrontPage http://www.ISAserver.org It's certainly worth a try.. As far as the credentials settings on ISA, those only apply to using ISA with an authenticating upstream proxy. Does that fit your scenario? BTW: Is it possible to make the logs even more detailed? Are you not seeing a popup? ISA shouldn't hold any credentials, BTW; that's a huge security hole... I can see that the error messages say cs-username is anonymous, shouldn't it be the username I have at my ISP? At least I'm asked about username and password (and domain) in FP (and I've tried to adjust settings to ask for username and password, not to use currently logged on user/password). On the ISAserver I'm not able to configure any use of username/password, but in my eyes it seems like ISAserver is not sending the appropriate username/password to my ISP... -Noralf- -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19. februar 2002 15:53 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: ISAserver and FrontPage http://www.ISAserver.org Are you still getting the same error messages?
