I believe Attonbitus may be on to something there. You might also want to look at how you are forwarding DNS. It is often a good idea to have your internal DNS forwarding to your external DNS for foreign queries. It would then be simpler for exchange to route everything to the internal and let DNS do it's thing. Hey Todd-- A couple of things: Ensure that the DC/Exchange server is a SNat client (point default gateway at ISA internal NIC). Also, make sure you do NOT have the firewall client on the server. The FW client on a stand-alone EX2k server does not seem to mess anything up (still not recommended) but putting the FW client on a DC with EX2k seems to monkey with the endpoint mapper availability to internal units, and you'll begin to get RPC "No available endpoints from endpoint mapper" or something like that. Given this config, your IP Config DNS should be internal-only. Go to the advanced delivery of SMTP in EX2k and put your external DNS there. Let us know what is going on...
