Of course. No traffic towards or through the ISA Server is allowed without
configuring the appropiate rules. But perhaps you had appointed the server to
an array before installation finished ? :o) (or am I confusing my configuration
steps here again ?)

If this is a stand-alone server, then now is the time to get into your car and
head over to the office and get to the physical console. :)

Or.. find an exploit for W2K3 or ISA2k4 that will allow you to remotely execute
code.. i.e., hack your own server. But that might be a toughie ;)

Regards,

Paul

Hi,

I do not get the option to configure ISA at all. Before it finishes the
installation it disconnects my remote session.

Regards,
Carmen

Oh, I don't suppose you made this ISA server a member of an Enterprise
array ? If you have, you should be able to just configure it further from a
local console. :o)

        Regards,

        Paul

When installing ISA 2004 Remotley, during the "initializing" step the
remote connection is terminated. I never get the last screen where I
should be asked if I want to "Invoke the ISA Server Management when the
wizard closes". These servers are miles away from my office and I don't
have access to the local console. What can I do.
