Valid reasons, all. I don't see any benefit to using multiple external IPs to reach the same internal server using the same protocol. You can use a single IP and let the web server hostheader filter figure it out. Most of these sites don't have much cacheble objects Currently I don't have any url filtering on web server. I should do that. But do you think that server publishing with multiple ip addreses on ISA mapped to multiple sites on web server(host headers) is not a problem, or is good confiuration to work with. Thanks for your help. You should install and configure URLScan on the web servers to replace that functionality. Why are you using server publishing? Thanks All I have 2 ips configured on external NIc of ISA and have them mapped to one ip on the internal web server which is hosting multiple web sites using host headers. It works fine as I performed a test, but just want to make sure that there is no problem doing this.
