No; in cache mode (proxy only), there are no packet filtering or firewall services, so there is no WinSock proxy functionality. We have a seperate FW and do not want to use that functionality within ISA. The problem is that without "integrated" mode, we cannot use winsock proxy functionality. With integrated mode, we cannot use a "single nic" configuration. I've tried installing a second nic on the same segment and excluding the nic address from the LAT. While this seemed to work for winsock functionality, the second card would not reply to network traffic on that segment (as long as its address was not in the LAT). This in turn caused problems with netbios name resolution...server name being mapped to an address which was not responding. Is there any way to configure ISA server for "Proxy only" but to still be able to use it for winsock proxy with the proxy(firewall) client? ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
