non-local-subnet packets

4. None I'm aware of, just lots of failures here and in the newsgroups (me
among them)

Scenario --
    Internal network, privatized addresses
    External network -- DSL Fixed IP
    2nd External Network -- Cable Modem

1.) Can it be done?
2.) Critical issues if answer to #1 is yes.
3.) Do I need to start from scratch if I'm already up and running but
without the 2nd External NIC setup?
4.) Pointer to whitepaper/article/kb ?
