1. ISA must be able to authenticate the user against an NTLM user database;
either local ISA accounts or domain accounts
2. outbound rules must be user/group restricted; anonymous rules have
priority
3. you'll also have to select "Ask unauthenticated user for identification"
in "Outgoing Web Requests".

Subject: [isalist] ISA Server Configuration

http://www.ISAserver.org

I have got ISA Server 2000 running on Windows 2000 server and have also
got ADSL with limited download. So I want to track the usage of Internet.
I am running DHCP. How can I configure the ISA Server 2000 in such a way
that it should be giving the user name. At the moment I am getting log
files which are saying only 'Anonymus' as user.

regards,
