We have our ISA behind a pix.
But I know Cisco and you donât know linux â
And if you want to configure inbound access, you do have to change the linux
firewall settings.
Basically, a setup with ISA and a firewall is possible and not very hard to
manage. But itâs clear that there is a more simple setup possible â â

Is itÂa goodÂIdeaÂto install ISA 2000 behind a Linux Firewall?

I need some information here, Our linux firewall was setupÂby a former System
Admin, Im not really familiar with Linux Firewall (IPtables) and now Im
planning to completely using the firewall mode of ISA, but first I need to know
if putting an ISA server behind a linux firewall is also a good setup, or is it
better to remove the linux firewall and instead use ISAÂfirewall?

Currently we are using our ISA 2000 in a cache mode (single NIC) setup.
